1.Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India Pvt. Ltd. has just launched a new 160cc CB Unicorn, in two variants – one being the CB Unicorn 160 standard, priced at ₹69,350, the other being the CB Unicorn 160 CBS, which is basically the same bike that’s equipped with a combined-braking system, costing ₹74,414 (ex-showroom, Delhi). Both versions of the new Unicorn feature a 240mm disc brake up front and rear drum setup (no option of a rear disc) on 17-inch alloy wheels.
2.The CB Unicorn 160 houses Honda’s all-new 163cc single cylinder unit that’s developed with Honda Eco Technology (HET) to produce peak power of 14.5bhp @ 8,000rpm and 14.1Nm @6,000rpm. This motor is mated to a 5-speed gearbox. The new bike that weighs in at 135kgs has a claimed top speed of 106kph and boasts a fuel economy figure of 62kpl.
